Tournament Schedule
There are many tournaments throughout the year where scholastic chess players can participate. Many of these are for students only, but some are open to everyone including adults (usually with some separation by rating level). Following is a list of tournaments (dates are subject to change) during the upcoming year, where several players from the Sparta area will be attending. Always check that an event is being held before going. All club members are encouraged to participate in these tournaments. Tournament details can be found at the U.S. Chess Federation web site.
